Best oral presentation award (500 €), in the field of biosensors, sponsored by Biosensors, MDPI.
BEST POSTER AWARD
Best poster presentation award (500 €), sponsored by Analytica, MDPI.
Moreover, a competition is launched to award the ten best posters, exhibited in the sessions of the congress. The prices are offered by the Analytical Chemistry Division.
The works will be evaluated on the basis of:
- inherence with the topics of the congress;
- innovative themes;
- effectiveness in conveying the message;
- comprehensibility and ease of reading;
- graphics and design.
The award ceremony is scheduled for Wednesday 14 September 2022, during the conference gala dinner.
AWARDS AND MEDALS OF THE ANALYTICAL CHEMISTRY DIVISION
The Analytical Chemistry Division has announced the 2022 competition for the Lifetime Achievement Award, which is conferred to a scientist who, thanks to his work and ideas, has contributed to the development and dissemination of the Analytical Chemistry culture.
The Division of Analytical Chemistry, the Division of Environmental and Cultural Heritage Chemistry and the Interdivisional Group of Separation Science have announced the 2022 competition for the Medal in memory of Arnaldo Liberti, with wich they aim to award a scientist who has achieved international distinctions with researches in the field of Analytical Chemistry, of Environmental and Cultural Heritage Chemistry and Separation Science.
In addition, during the congress will be conferred the Medal in memory of Giovanni Canneri, awarded annually to an Italian or foreign scientist who has distinguished himself for research in the Analytical Chemistry field.
Two competitions for young scientist have also been announced: the Young Researcher Award, to be conferred to a young researcher who has shown particular aptitude and interest in studies and research activities in the Analytical Chemistry field; and the Degree Award, aimed at rewarding a five-year, master's or specialist degrees thesis carried out in the Analytical Chemistry field and discussed during the year 2021. In addition, the Silvio Sammartano Awards: Best PhD thesis are announced for the year 2022, funded by the "Silvio Sammartano Foundation", under constitution; the prizes will be awarded to two young PhDs, enrolled in the Italian Chemical Society for the year 2022 and authors of a doctoral thesis on topics related to Analytical Chemistry.
The awarding of the Lifetime Achievement Award, the Canneri Medal, the Young Researcher Award, the Degree Award and the Silvio Sammartano Awards will take place during the Analytical Chemistry Division Assembly, scheduled for Monday 12 September 2022.
